The sentences handed down remotely by the judge are delivered to the representatives of the parties by email and forwarded to the bailiffs. If your claim requires the services of Tipstaff, please call 020 7947 6200 or 020 7947 6713 and speak to Tipstaff before going to court or filing your claim.

1. Unlisted requests can be made to the Court of Appeal only if they are urgent and the urgency arises from a recent event or circumstance. An application cannot be filed with the Court of Appeals simply because the other party or parties have not been notified, unless the application is an urgent application as defined above. All other requests, whether reported or unreported, must first be issued with a reasonable time estimate and listed by a date specified by the rules clerk.
2. Except in cases of extreme urgency, requests must be made before 10:30 am and no later.
3. No application can be filed with the High Court Appeals Tribunal that can be filed with a junior judge.

5.3judgments

The verdict will be announced by the judge of Court X at 10:30 a.m. on Y of Z 2022. The presence of the parties and their legal representatives is waived, unless otherwise provided by the judge. A copy of the judgment in final form is automatically mailed to the attorneys and all litigants in person shortly thereafter.

7.King's Bench Masters Daily Cause List

Daily audiences before the King's Bench Masters.

7.1Press and public access

Any member of the media (or any other member of the public) wishing to participate in a remote hearing must provide an email address and contact number in order to receive an appropriate access link. Contact the appropriate Master staff member, specifying the date and time of the hearing in the subject line. Details of the registrar can be found in Annex 2 of the King's Bank Division Guide (link below) or call the court on 020 3936 8957 and select option 4 and then the option for the relevant master.

7.2judgments

The sentences issued remotely by the master are distributed by email to the representatives of the parties and transmitted to the National Archives. The delivery date and time are taken into account at the earliest at the specified time. After this period, a copy of the final judgment in the form served may be made available upon request by email.

7.3PACKAGES

In-Person Hearings: Paper packets must be provided at least 3 days before the hearing. These can be taken to the bear garden for delivery.

Remote hearings: they must be sent electronically to the commander and/or his secretary at least 3 days before the hearing. See the Masters Remote Instructions in the Notice of Hearing for specific instructions.

7.4Personal Audiences

All hearings scheduled to take place in a hall or courtroom will not have video connectivity unless otherwise noted. The main chambers are limited to 4 participants. If more participants are expected, please contact the GM secretariat as soon as possible to let them know and see if a suitable alternative can be found.
