Veterans Day is filled with free food, discounts, and promotions (2023)

Here is a list of some restaurants and other businesses across the country that are offering free or discounted meals for veterans and active duty members on Veterans Day, November 11th.

Check with your local retail stores to see if they participate in the offer and what proof of service they require. Some offer discounts to veterans but not their families. If your favorite spot isn't on the list, check it out anyway, just to make sure it doesn't offer Veterans Day discounts or free food. Many do.

A Roda Capital (National Harbor, Maryland)— From 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., active and retired military members can ride for free. Accompanying family members are eligible for the military discount. Military ID required.

rancher- Current or former military members have until November 11 to register at Cattlemens.com to receive a certificate for a complimentary 8-ounce filet mignon dinner with sides.
